Dark Knight

Well Jamie and I finally went to see the new Batman film on Sunday and I can safely say that it was well worth the wait!

I'm certainly no film critic so I'm not going to try and say something clever and thoughtful about the film but one thing I can say is if you ain't seen it yet then get your ass along to the cinema before it ends.

Right from the start I was hooked and every second that Heath Ledger was on the screen was just amazing. I never thought much about all the hype surrounding him and the film but he more than deserves every single award nomination that the film has brought him. It just shows even more how much a waste of a young life it is and how much the movie world has lost :(

I have never really paid attention to the Batman films in very much detail so I can't really comment on Christian Bale in comparison to any of his predecessors but the one thing I did think about what that damn voice when he is Batman. Why does he feel the need to try and disguise his voice and has anyone ever noticed how prominent his lisp is when he is speaking like that? I noticed it when he was in American Psycho but he never seemed to have it during the entirety of Velvet Goldmine. That got me thinking that maybe it's only when he is speaking in an American accent that this happens?!?!

Anyways definitely worth a trip to the visit cinema and I will definitely be buying it when it comes out on DVD.

Heh world here I am....

I finally come to terms with that fact that as I am getting older I have a less and less efficient memory and can hardly remember what I did this morning never mind a few days ago.

Thought it would be a good idea to start recording some thoughts and pics and more importantly share my madness with others!

May as well start with my night out last night. The whole evening basically revolved round my new shoes that I have totally fallen in love with.





We decided as a group of friends that we would get all dressed up for a change and head out for dinner and try our best to be add a bit of sophistication to our evening (believe me it was a difficult task, this doesn't come easily to us....least of all me!)





Had a lovely evening alhtough think Lill and Maria regretted wearing high heels which needless to say gave them, in the words of Lill "sare baws". Gave me the thought of writing to party feet and suggestting that they launch a Scottish version of Party Feet, I can see the tag line now.....





"Stops any lassie sufferin fae sare baws"
